I’m bored. Here are my answers to the Proust Questionnaire (google it)

Taken from the Vanity Fair website. Including that handsome Proust fellow on your left.

No worries, a camera, a country home, many animals and someone to share it with.

Never feeling satisfied or content.

3. Which historical figure do you identify most with?

The Romanov sisters.

4. Which living person do you most admire?

Close draw between Grace Coddington and Jo Rowling.

To spare someone’s feelings.

How obvious it is I live a sedentary life.

I would like to be a go-getter.

12. If you could change one thing about your family what would it be?

That we genuinely liked each other.

13. What do you consider your greatest achievement?

I graduated from university. First of my brothers and sisters.

17. Who are your heroes in real life?

Accepting, open-minded, forward-thinking people that still believe in changing the world.

18. What is it that you most dislike?

Crowds, spiders and clowns. Also, stupid people.

I don’t care about the how, I just hope to have accomplished something.

20. What is your motto?

“And now Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.” I know that’s a Dumbledore quote not a motto.

And there it is. A little window into a persons psyche.

Just an outttake post from today’s 365. Which means it’s the same photo with just a few tweaks :). Yesterday was a much more productive day in terms of photo-taking but the mass upload was left to the facebook page as opposed to making you lovely reader scroll endlessly. Aren’t I nice? Don’t answer that. Big thanks to little sis who stood around talking to bestest brother in law ever whilst making me feel less silly taking self-portraits in public. Also thanks to the jerks who parked in front of me and made me feel silly anyways.

This project is drawing to a close very, very fast. I have a tentative idea about what 365 will look like and fingers crossed, everything will slip into place that day.

Sort of improvised shoot with my friend Monica.

This shot happened, because after weeks of thinking it lost, I found my costume petticoat. I was so happy, no joke. I love a tutu with lots of fluff. As a matter of fact if I could get away with wearing it I would walk around town in a different one every day.

In other exciting news, I’ve got at least 4 shoots planned  in the next two  weeks and that makes me a very jolly photographer. yup

I love making up stories behind every image, even if it’s just a short story not a full-length novel. Every image is a screenshot of the paragraphs in my head.

I keep the stories to myself though. I like that they can mean something entirely different to every single person and they can come up with their own script and characters.

funny tidbit: I had to walk around in this getup at the mall. Oh the stares. When will this city get used to different?

whip it

Had to make a decision. Keep the length I have been battling for over a year now, or chop the ends off and try and make it healthy. Health it was and I am really happy I did it. Even if it’s back to the dreaded no-growth shoulder length. It doesn’t feel brittle to the touch anymore. I solemnly swear, with the random blog-reader as witness, I will not color my hair for at least a whole year. Yeah, a whole year. Not even going to care about the red that is peeking through the brown. Nope. Just going to let it be and grow as naturally as possible. And yes, I realize I am very vain about something as inconsequential as hair. Well, it might be inconsequential to some.

Since this IS supposed to be a photo diary, here are some outtakes from today’s experiment in giving myself eyebrows. Don’t I look broody and pensive?

and this is almost the same. but not really
